Jennifer Hill

Born and raised in Chittenden County, I am excited to be back in Vermont and joining the Burlington Community Justice Center! I have spent the past seven years in California, earning my BA in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz and working in the Santa Cruz criminal justice community. During my years working as the research assistant for the Santa Cruz County Task Force on Justice and Gender, I developed a deep passion for criminal justice reform. Since graduating I have held several advocacy positions where I have strived to better meet the needs of justice-involved individuals, their families and communities. My focus areas include addressing mental health and substance abuse disorders, utilizing harm reduction techniques and restorative justice. In my free time, you can find me hiking, watching movies and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
